Hello everyone!!!

Wondering where the hell I was? (Probably not... am I just totally forgotten here? :( )

And what's the first thing a decent person does when going to Japan?
It is clear, right?

So look,

Do you want to see what's inside?
Inside the cut:

So, yes!, Japan is veeery interesting :D

Btw, here is the deal.
I'll will try in the future days to upload pictures of the contents of the ones I like more, but if you feel like you want to know more about any of these dous, just ask! I promise I'll create a new entry with it ;)

In the mean time... where shall I start "reading"? :)

I got into touch for the first time with the the BBC show Sherlock when I was in Budapest in 2011. I loved the show, I found it fascinating. Also, then, I met for the first time Benedict Cumberbatch.

But it was not until 2012, during the emission of the second season in January that I totally fall for it. I remember saying that Irene Adler's episode was my favorite for years after that. Reichenbach on the other hand: I didn't like it extremely BUT: the discussions about how he managed not to die entertained me for a (long) while.

Here is my entry at that time explaining the fall: http://violet-sounds.livejournal.com/73485.html

As you can see (*proud*) I got almost everything perfectly:
- Molly's help.
- Unexpected Moriarty's will of death (this was a tricky one, eh!)
- The bike.
- Mycroft's help.
- The ambulance building.
- Someone in the comments talked about the ball.

But Moffat & Co. played unfairly with us/me:
- First: the truck. I was wrong about the truck. Moffat planted it there for us (*the clever ones*) to fall into the idea. But I must admit I like the crash mat more, I never consider the truck bags very reliable... xD
- Second: the very complicated explanation for the guy in the other building with the gun. I may say I like my idea more, it's more simple! But I guess people overthinking it forced an answer...

So as you can see I was really waiting for the third season!

I was pretty much pleased with the first episode. Two things I loved of S03E01:

- The way it is narrated: back and forward, different versions of the fall... The rush (always a great point of the series). The funny moments.
- The relationships between characters. I think one of the biggest moments in the show is Sherlock-Mycroft conversation. It's very deep, very confident, very natural. You can really believe they've been brothers all their lifes (which says a lot about the actors!).
I was pleased when I read that season 3 will include much more of this.

In my opinion this show has only been going up since its beginning. Getting better with each episode. Obviously the creators are listening to the critics/fans, which sometimes (just sometimes, and just somethings) is a very intelligent thing to do, and here helps the show to flow naturally.

Then, you see, after S03E01, when you think it cannot get better, because is impossible, you are emotionally (almost physically) hit and beat up by S03E02, which is, to the moment, the most perfect episode in TV I have ever watched (three great writers were needed for that, no surprise :) )

My list of best episodes in TV history:

#3: "Three stories", S21E01, House MD.
#2: "The empty hearse", S03E01, Sherlock.
#1: "The sign of Three", S03E02, Sherlock.

My Top 5 includes a couple of Doctor WHO episodes (in case you are wondering XD)

I think I've watched S03E02 four times already. The first time in streaming, the second time from the BBC web page right after the first. (Yeah, well, I might be a bit obsessed with it, right? XD). Everything in that episode is perfect. Benedict acting there deserves the higher prize ever. I cannot stop complimenting it/him from each point of view or detail.

Btw, this is important:
One of the things that really intrigued me is the influence of Mycroft in Sherlock's thoughts. This episode revealed the huge effect he has on him and I didn't see people talking about it that much!
You know, that part, when he is thinking very fast and at the same time keeping the attention of the whole room. With Mycroft in the pulpit pressing him until Sherlock shouts:

"Not him! {with Mycroft face flying around} You! {the camera jumping to a surprised John Watson} Always you! Watson, you keep me right!"

Oh, that part is full of meaning! Very informative and straightforward.
((Why people is not screaming about that all the time since!?!!!))

Anyway, I'm pretty sure now that we are going to have much more of it in the last episode according to this and this, and I'm pretty sure that is going to make us suffer... cry... get depressed and live a long extended withdrawal for years in penance... because this is how all this joy will end right? *cries*

It's been a while, huh? :)
How do you do my dear friends?
As expected, as my thesis deadline is approaching (it can be either another year or just a few months, long story...) I write here less and less... sorry. And, which is worse, my posts lately are a succession of "I'm sorry", "It's been a while" and blah-blah...
But today is Sunday, officially my day of laziness and I miss LJ & you so much I decided to write something: stop by and say hello ;)
And! stop by and tell you my new season anime list and the next cosplays I plan to do :D
First things first, fall 2012 animes, what to see?

Here is the pink list: the animes I must watch (or my friends will stop talking to me!) and the shoujos (lovely shoujos at last!!):
01 Zetsuen no Tempest (04-oct)
01 K (04-oct)
01 Kamisama Hajimemashita (01-oct)
01 Tonari no Kaibutsukun (02-oct)
01 Sukitte ii nayo (06-oct)

Here the ones I still wating for and that I think will be interesting:
Magi (7-oct)
Psycho Pass (11-oct)
Robotics;Notes (12-oct)

Here the series I started to watch (weekend-weekend  ♪ ♪ ♪) but I most probably will drop:
02 Shinsekai yori (28-sep)
01 Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! (04-oct)
01 Code Breaker (07oct)
0.5 Hidamari Sketch×Honeycomb (06-oct)
01 Btooom (04-oct)
0.5 Onii-chan Dakedo Ai Sae Areba Kankeinai yo ne! (06-oct)

And you my friends? Which animes do you have in mind? What are your greatest expectations? :)
I'm quite surprise I've got a maximum of 10 animes that I actually enjoyed some way watching (although in that list less than five will remain in next episodes). For example: Code Breaker was funnier than expected. Shinekai yori is boring though... The cliché shojo of Sukitte ii nayo (which manga I started to read) is dull, but... shoujo! xD I wonder if Psycho Pass is as cool as it looks like (the characters are so Hitman-like! :3). My friends will literally kill me if I say something negative relating K, but I hope it gets better in next episodes (or the bishounen gets enhanced!!). I put all my hopes in Zetsuen no Tempest and all my joy in Tonari and Kamisama ;)

And now the cosplays:

My new flatmates (in my new flat - another story that I'll try to tell in another post) always wanted to do cosplay but they didnt, till now. I encouraged them to do so and the arranged a Halloween party cosplay centered. At the same time, the bluwim-flat-inauguration party ended up, again, as a cosplay party at Halloween! xD (Yes, I'm celebrating Halloween twice! :D)
I've decided not to expend too much money in cosplays in this years of crisis, but since I've got a beautiful pink wig from the Kobato cosplay, re-use (instead of sell) it, cannot be that bad idea, isn't it?

1st Halloween Party, a classic I always wanted to do: Alex Delarge, female version.
2nd Halloween Party, at Badajoz with bluwim and nyukeehlL and others: Lucy/Nyu bloody version (green shorts and T-shirt).
3rd Expocomic Madrid 2012: Princess Bubblegum scientist version with kei88 and yerkomil :D

Hugs my friends! Till the next time!! :)

Considering this is the only anime I completely watched this season... I shall say it was good enough --although not as good as some of us expected... Btw, Jazz is good, little boys and girls, you should listen it. True. But cliché always sell very well, and so do, rock n roll :D And between originality and jazz and love story with melancholic drama, they choose soap opera.
Then the maths and the cries...
Yeah, good enought.

Oh, man... this is perfect awesomeness!
